In light of a series of partnerships, eTap’s latest partner is a Filipino cultural classic – Julie’s Bakeshop. Julie’s Bakeshop is already a giant in the Filipino pastry industry but with roots that hit close to home. What made Julie’s a success is its homage to the Filipinos’ love and fondness for bread and that it is easily accessible. One of their goals is accessibility and bringing their branches closer by strategically positioning their stores within barangays.

At present, eTap machines are deployed in 18 branches and hopefully as we go on, more branches get to have their own eTap machines so users can discover a wide variety of transactions they can do in one go. The plan is to deploy 100 more machines this month. Currently, machines are deployed across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao branches.

Zooming out on the bigger picture, eTap plans to expand to a total of 1,900 machines nationwide targeting brands that are aligned with the same vision of delivering accessibility to Filipinos. Just as Julie’s Bakeshop prioritizes its customer needs, eTap’s core is also at the needs of its customers and what problems the kiosks can solve that would help them on a daily basis.

No doubt that tinapay has been embedded in our culture and it is accessible across all social strata. eTap wants the Filipinos to have both the accessibility of simply buying pan de sal and also being able to accomplish quick and easy digital transactions all within the comfort of their own neighborhood.

eTap is the Philippines' leading Self-Service Machine provider and operator that offers Managed Services and Customized Products to the leading companies in the industries of Telecommunications and Payments since 2015.
